Rotating skyscrapers

Hey, you! 😀 How are you doing today?

Have you ever heard of rotating skyscrapers? I read this news on World Economic Forum’s page on Facebook yesterday and I decided to share it with you.

According to the Daily Mail, the Dynamic Tower Hotel, which has been in the works since 2008, will finally be built in 2020. It will be able to rotate 360 degrees, so the view will change endlessly for residents inside, rotating independently around the structure’s concrete center at the command of voice-activated control. The building will be self-powered through wind turbines and solar panels. Some of the units could be turned into apartments, which would cost $30million each, according to Mashable.

Israeli-Italian architect David Fisher created the design with the idea that ‘the motionless state of today’s houses does not reflect people’s actual lives, where everything is constantly changing‘.

Now it’s your turn: would you live in a building like that? Why (not)? What are the most interesting aspects of this kind of technology?

Hope to read you soon! 😀

I always get surprised by the new technologies!!! What a nice building.
I would like to live there 😀
But you know what I always think? The architects’s ideas are usually nice, but they make engineer’s lives quite difficult haha

Hi, sweetie! Thanks for your feedback. It’s always a pleasure to read you and know about your points of view.
      I agree with you, 200% 🙂 .
Engineers have got such a hard time making all these plans possible, but I believe this kind of building takes them to another level of knowledge. That’s what makes the world constantly moving forward!
I would also ❤ to live there. Especially because of the possibility of controlling the sunlight inside.
      Kisses!
